TAVI in the Garden
The last few weeks have been hard, but throughout it The Raccoon (my partner) and our cats have been a steady support. To my readers I apologise for the period of silence. Sometimes when the heart is too full, no words will flow.
I have started working again, above is my most recent acrylic on stretched canvas. Tavi, our boy cat has always inspired me to look at the world anew. He is such a stoic, yet indomitable little man. This was an attempt to capture his discovery of the bushes next door. The property has been vacant for about a year now and he loves the overgrown garden. A few days ago I stood on our little balcony and watched him bounce in the little glass potting shed he had discovered a entrance too. He was definitely hunting something and completely captivated. So this piece was born.
